Spike and his
companion, Lucy, came into the FBVillage's custody when
their owner could no longer care for them. Spike is a very
friendly and outgoing French Bulldog who loves everybody, people
of all sizes, other dogs, cats, and even geese! He loves
to chase the geese in his foster home, so a home with a goose or
two would be a real treat. Of course, if his new home
won't buy him his own goose, he'll understand...
Spike is a very active, fun
loving little dog who appreciates having playmates. He
loves to cuddle as well, and he has shown absolutely no food
aggression or toy possessiveness at all. This is one happy
little guy.
Spike is crate trained and
housebroken, but keep
in mind that any dog in a new situation may have a few
accidents until he learns his new schedule. He is a
little weak in the back end, but an x-ray of his back showed no
problems. He has got stronger in foster care, and we
suspect that he will get stronger yet as he gets the exercise
that he needs. Other than that, he has no apparent health
issues, and
he is current on his veterinary care.
Spike would love a home with children or maybe someone who has
an active social life that would include Spike. Spike
loves to entertain and be entertained. Wherever he goes,
we know that he will make his new family laugh all day because
he is such a little clown.
A couple of geese would be
nice too, says Spike.
