Lucy and her companion, Spike, came into the FBVillage's custody when their owner could no longer care for them.  Lucy is a very petite French Bulldog, but she's HUGE when it comes to her affections.  She is the sweetest, most loving little dog in the world and follows her foster mom everywhere she goes.

She gets along with her foster mom's resident French Bulldogs, although it did take a few days for her to warm up to them.  She is a friendly and outgoing little dog, and she loves meeting people of all ages and all sizes, although she can be a little timid at initial introductions.  At her age, she really appreciates her couch time and a soft bed to snooze in, she really is a bit of a couch potato.  She gets along very well with other dogs and cats, but she can be possessive about her toys.

Lucy is crate trained and almost housebroken, she will require supervision to maintain her house manners.  Keep in mind that any dog in a new situation may have a few accidents until she learns her new schedule.  She has no apparent health issues, and she is current on her veterinary care.

Lucy would like a home where there are people who have the time and inclination to fuss over her, the more the merrier.  She loves spending time with people.  Someone who let her sleep in their bed at night would be fabulous.  She doesn't need a great deal of exercise, a stroll around the block every now and then would be just perfect.  She is used to having a fenced in yard with doggie door access, so a home which could provide that for her would certainly get her attention.
