Luc, an import from Argentina, was turned over to the FBVillage when his owners had their first baby, and conflicts developed between Luc and the other male French Bulldog in his home, just one year his senior. Earlier in his life, Luc had been a well socialized family companion, who had attended Puppy Kindergarten and Beginners Obedience classes, and with the careful supervision and training which he has received in his foster home, we believe that Luc is once again the fine companion that he was always intended to be.

Luc is a calm, friendly and outgoing French Bulldog who gets along with other dogs and with cats - he shares his foster home with seven resident dogs, ranging in size and type from Borzois to Boston Terriers and including a French Bulldog female, and three resident cats.  He has shown no aggression towards any of his housemates, whether human, canine, or feline.  Despite his history of conflict, Luc has turned out to be a surprisingly sweet dog.

Luc is crate trained and housebroken, but keep in mind that any dog in a new situation may have a few accidents until he learns his new schedule.  He is a little weak in the back end, probably as the result of a previous spinal/hip injury, but he gets around just fine.  He also has a problem with allergies, which make him scratch his belly.  Other than that, he has no apparent health issues, and he is current on his veterinary care.

Luc would do best in a home without children, he is not a rough and tumble dog who would enjoy interaction with children.  He would do well in a home with settled adults, and he would do well to avoid a home with a  great deal of "drama", due to his unsettled past.  A home with someone who would provide him with structure and consistency, but also with plenty of love and attention, would be ideal.
