Betty Boop is back!

Tyree August 19th, 2008

A change in life circumstances has put Ms. Betty back at our doorstep and looking for a new home. This gorgeous girl originally came to the Village after suffering from a stroke that affected her spine and left her unable to walk. After a barrage of vet visits and water therapy appointments, Betty now not only walks but runs. She is still a little wobbly, and has an accident now and again but what dog doesn’t?

Betty’s current foster home includes a number of Frenchies, including a very petite puppy that Betty absolutely adores. A household with a puppy (or an exuberant older dog) would be the perfect home for her. Betty should be available on the website soon, so check back!

Otis Too is revving to go!

What’s this I hear? The Village Bus is preparing to roll out and Otis Too wants to hop on? Yes, it seems this adorabull guy is nearly ready to head out into the world.

Otis Too has not only slimmed down but perked up. His thyroid levels are stable and he is much more confident in everything he does. Once a grumbler, he now initiates play and gets along with everything he meets, even Squishy, the squirrel that his foster mom is currently rehabilitating.

Otis Too will be available for adoption on the website soon, so check back again. He needs a family to call his own. Could it be yours?
